Ray of Light

Ray in the Jungle of Beng Mealea
Nikon D80 with Tokina 12-24 at 12mm; ISO 200, 1/250sec at f/9

Ray of light shining through the dense foliage at Beng Mealea, Siem Reap, Cambodia, seemingly to be hinting the new born natural force of trees, nature, around the ancient magnificance, intelligence.

note: Beng Mealea, one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor, as nature has well and truly run riot. Built to the same floorplan as Angkor Wat in the 12th century under Suryavarman II (r 1112-1152), Beng Mealea is enclosed by a massive moat measuring 1.2km by 900m, much of which has dried up today.

  2. this pic is good... if you can increase the ISO to 640, and set contrast in picture control to zero, then set +1EV and maintain the aperture f8 to f9... u can get a better Ray Of Light + nice flare.. :-)
