Yellow in the Greens

Nikon D80 with Nikkor 18-105 at 105mm; ISO 200, 1/60sec at f/9

I found her lonely hiding in the shade, in the greens. However, it didnt stop her from shining.

So beautiful and elegant she is.

Kuala Lumpur Heritage Trails

It was a photography competition on 18th Oct 2009, Kuala Lumpur Heritage Trails, and these were some of my favourites of the day. They weren't the perfect composition and complying to the rules of thumb, however they did express my view and opinion towards Kuala Lumpur's Heritage wholely and truly.

I am trying to depict another side of religion. Religion doesn't really need to be that serious, easy, be responsible to whom you are, and adhere to the principles you think is right, that's it.

Rowing at the Horizon

Rowing at the Horizon
Nikon D80 with Nikkor 18-105 at 66mm; ISO 100, 1/4sec at f/16

It was a great weekend spent in Pontian. One day before I go back to KL, I went to the seaside trying my luck to capture the always visually-stunning sunset in Pontian.

Unlucky, it was an overcast sky.

Wandering around, I noticed this little boat sailing tough, at the horizon of the under-saturated colours of sea and sky, towards the island loomed through the heavy cloud.

Artificial that blends subtly into the great of nature's colours and settings, completing the overall balance of this capture.

Haze world in the microscopic perspective

Micro Shoot of Feather
Nikon D80 with Nikkor 18-55 reversed at 55mm; ISO 100, 1/100sec at f/8

Saw a white and transparent feather on the road shoulder while I was taking micro photos of the flowers.

The results is refreshing, setting a brand new perspective of me.

I thought the results would be as simply as detailed shoot of the fur, and some special texture, didnt expect to capture the special lighting effect caused by the density of the fur itself.

Another haze world in Malaysia in August? I just love the pic.
